Avaya Partner Voicemail
All VS Voicemails must be used on an Avaya* Partner phone system. They are compatible with any Partner ACS processor, a Partner II processor 3.1 or higher, and a Partner Plus processor 3.1 or higher. If you want voicemail, and don’t have a high enough processor revision, you can upgrade relatively easily. Any questions on VS voicemails, please ask.
All VS voicemails start out with two ports, but can be upgraded to a four port voicemail. What this means is, if you have a two port voicemail and two people call at the exact same time both will get through to the voicemail. If a third person calls at the exact same time, it will just ring until either one of the other incoming calls is finished leaving a message, or it will just keep ringing with no answer.
These voicemails have built in auto attendant that can be turned on or off, or activated only during some time periods (like after hours).
*When using the term Avaya, it refers to any Avaya, AT&T, or Lucent products. The products are the same regardless of the logo, it just depends on the time period in which they were manufactured.
